About the role

Gerestas School is located on Härnön in Härnösand Municipality. The school is situated in a natural setting with a schoolyard bordering forest and recreation areas, which are used extensively in daily operations. The school offers education from preschool class (förskoleklass) to grade 6, as well as four after-school care departments.

We are now looking for you who want to work with us as a preschool class teacher. The position is a summer substitute and a temporary vacancy for one of our preschool class teachers. You will be part of a work team and work in both the preschool class and the after-school care center.

Responsibilities

In the role of a teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, teaching, and evaluating the operations based on the curriculum and other regulatory documents. You contribute to creating an environment aimed at strengthening our students in both their knowledge development and their personal development and hope for the future. You work in accordance with the Education Act, the curriculum, and municipal goals.

Qualifications

Teacher degree with teacher certification with eligibility for teaching in preschool class, or alternatively, a preschool teacher degree.

Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
