About the Operations

The Individual and Family Administration is responsible for measures according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), which covers individual and family care as well as care for persons with disabilities. Citizens of the municipality who need social services can receive advice, support, and assistance. In most cases, our assistance and measures are provided following an individual assessment as part of our authority exercise. Our ambition is that the measures we provide lead to increased independence.

The operations focus on support for children, young people, and their parents, substance abuse issues, violence in close relationships, persons with disabilities who need support in their daily lives, persons in need of financial support, labor market measures, rehabilitation, and integration.

Job Responsibilities

The work may include, among other things, support and motivation in daily chores, household tasks, help and support with personal care such as personal hygiene, delegated health and medical care measures, self-care, and social contacts.

We have a need for summer substitutes in the following areas:

• Supported housing (both day/evening and night)
• Childcare activities
• Staircase housing
• Group homes
• Personal assistance

Indicate in your application if you have a particular interest in any of the operations. On some workplaces, it is particularly important that you are confident working independently.

The work is varied and stimulating. You will meet people from different backgrounds. Our operations run around the clock: daytime, evening, weekends, awake nights, and days on call. Working hours vary at the different workplaces. Regardless of your future plans, working in care provides experience that helps you grow as a person and looks good on your CV.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in working with people. You need to be able to work independently and have a social and flexible approach. We work based on a low-affective approach, where we strive to work in a calm and secure manner. Through good treatment and good communication, we create trusting relationships.

Education within healthcare and social care, child and youth activities, or other relevant education is meritorious. Within some operations, a Category B driving license is a requirement. You need good knowledge of the Swedish language to communicate and document. We use various digital apps for signing and documentation.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability. All our summer substitutes become part of a team with colleagues where you can receive support and advice. You will also receive a tailored introduction containing both theoretical and practical knowledge. Upon employment, extracts from the criminal record register must be presented.

About the Position

We are looking for summer substitutes for the summer of 2026. The vacation period is week 25–33. The employment always starts with an hourly contract, and we would like you to start working well in advance of the summer.
