Assignment Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Category Manager.

What You Will Work On

• Own, develop, and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives
• Analyze sourcing and procurement data to identify optimization opportunities
• Drive cost efficiency and long-term value creation initiatives
• Build and manage a competitive and sustainable supplier portfolio
• Improve supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, sustainability, and technology dimensions
• Lead supplier relationship management and governance activities
• Conduct commercial negotiations and manage supplier agreements
• Secure supply continuity and support long-term capacity planning
• Monitor market developments, pricing movements, and supplier innovation
• Drive proactive supply chain risk management initiatives
• Support engineering change implementation together with technical stakeholders
• Identify sourcing synergies across business areas and categories
• Strengthen procurement maturity and strategic sourcing practices

What You Bring

• Relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience
• Solid experience within strategic sourcing and category management
• Background from industrial or manufacturing environments
• Proven experience leading supplier negotiations and supplier development initiatives
• Strong analytical capability and experience using sourcing and procurement data
• Good understanding of supplier evaluation and contract management practices
• Experience operating within international and global sourcing organizations
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technical functions
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities
• Structured and business-oriented approach to procurement execution
