We are now looking for a Shift Supervisor for HMSHost/Avolta's restaurant unit 60° Bar & Brewery at Arlanda Airport. We are looking for you who want to work closely with the team and take responsibility for the daily operations! As a Shift Supervisor with us, you will have a key role where you lead the team on-site, create strong guest experiences, and build a work environment characterized by engagement, quality, and joy of work.

About the role

In the role of Shift Supervisor at HMSHost, you are responsible for the daily operations during your shift and ensure good service and quality at the unit. You always put the guest first and make the customer feel seen - all to constantly deliver top-class service!

Main responsibilities:

• To lead and work together with your team in operations.
• Together with the assistant restaurant manager and the restaurant manager, you are responsible for driving the business forward and working with, for example, sales results, work environment, and staffing.
• Follow up on the restaurant's routines and ensure that food safety is adhered to.
• The role includes administrative work such as planning, scheduling, and staffing.
• Together with the assistant restaurant manager/restaurant manager, follow up on financial results and set goals.
• Motivate and develop employees both in operational matters and in their personal development.

Who are you?

Competence requirements:

• Experience in the restaurant industry: At least 2 years of experience working in the restaurant industry, with in-depth knowledge of restaurant operations and service.
• Leadership: Experience in leading and motivating a team of restaurant staff, with the ability to create a positive work environment and maintain high standards.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills in Swedish, both oral and written, to effectively collaborate with staff and handle customer relations.
• Organization: Ability to organize and plan the workflow efficiently, including scheduling, ordering goods, and monitoring the restaurant's daily operations.
• Customer Service: Strong focus on providing outstanding customer service, with the ability to handle guest complaints and ensure that every guest experience is positive.
• Problem Solving: Ability to think innovatively and solve problems efficiently, especially during stressful situations or peak times.
• Hygiene and Safety: Good understanding of hygiene and safety regulations in the restaurant industry, with the ability to ensure that the restaurant meets all rules and regulations.
• Economic Understanding: Basic understanding of the restaurant's economy and profitability, with the ability to contribute to increasing sales and maximizing profitability.
• Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments within the restaurant, such as kitchen staff, serving staff, and marketing teams.
• Flexibility: Readiness to work evenings, weekends, and during holidays, as well as the ability to adapt to changed work requirements and demands from management.

Other

This is a full-time position. The work is distributed over all days of the week, early mornings, and evenings. You need to be able to get to and from the airport almost around the clock, as our business is open most of the day, 365 days a year. The airport is a security-classified workplace which requires an approved security check including register control. There must also be no gaps in your employment for more than 28 days, unless they can be documented. Please ensure that your last five years can be documented in the form of certificates and references and prepare yourself before a possible interview.
