Description

Strömslundsskolan is located on the west side of the river in Trollhättan and serves students from preschool class to grade 9. Here you will find a safe and well-functioning school with good academic results, a high proportion of certified teachers, and strong collegial learning. Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a certified teacher for the lower secondary school (grades 4–6) for a temporary position where you will teach both in the school's special education group (SU-group) and in Social Studies (SO) in a regular class.

In the special education group, you will teach students in several subjects and be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching based on the students' individual needs. You will work closely with special education teachers in the group. The teaching requires great variation, clear structures, and a relationship-building approach where students are given the prerequisites to develop sustainable strategies for their learning and increased independence.

The assignment also includes teaching in Social Studies (SO) in a regular class on the lower secondary level.

We are looking for you who want to contribute to developing the school's inclusive learning environments and who see the value in creating safety, structure, and good relationships as the foundation for learning.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach in grades 4–6, preferably with eligibility in Social Studies. It is an advantage if you have experience working with students in need of special support or teaching in special education groups.

You are a confident, clear, and relationship-building leader in the classroom with a good ability to create a calm learning environment and adapt teaching based on students' different needs and prerequisites. You work systematically and goal-oriented and have an inclusive and solution-focused approach.

You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and have a good ability to translate these into practice. Collaboration is a natural part of your work, and you actively contribute to a good work climate and collegial learning.
