Do you want to strengthen society's resilience and contribute to a robust municipal operation? Sollentuna Municipality is now looking for an engaged and driven Preparedness Coordinator who wants to help develop our work within crisis preparedness and civil defense.

Job Responsibilities

As a Preparedness Coordinator, you will play a central role in developing and coordinating the municipality's work within crisis preparedness and civil defense. Your focus will be on supporting and developing the work at the Health and Care Office, as well as contributing to a long-term and sustainable preparedness capacity throughout the entire municipal group.

Sollentuna Municipality has already initiated several important projects in this area. We are now entering a phase where the work will be implemented, realized, and integrated into operations. You will become a key person in driving this work forward, with the ambition to create efficient working methods.

The Health and Care Office is responsible for ensuring that the municipality's elderly and persons with disabilities receive high-quality care and support. The office works on behalf of the Health and Care Committee and is divided into three departments. The position is located at the office's Support and Development Department.

Your main responsibilities:

• Coordinate and develop work within crisis preparedness and civil defense.
• Support operations in preventing and managing societal disruptions.
• Drive the implementation and follow-up of preparedness measures.
• Produce analyses, background materials, and guidelines.
• Contribute to work related to security and safety issues.
• Participate in and, if necessary, support staff work in the crisis management organization.

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree, for example in political science.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Knowledge of municipal operations and their prerequisites.

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Work with civil preparedness and crisis preparedness.
• Security protection work.
• Risk and vulnerability analyses.
• Staff work in crisis management organizations.
• Process and project management.
• Work in municipal administration, preferably within health and care.
• Collaboration with private providers within the preparedness sector.

To succeed in the role, you are structured and have a good ability to plan, organize, and carry out work in an efficient manner. You have a strategic approach where you see the big picture while paying attention to and handling important details. Furthermore, you are a clear and trustworthy communicator who can anchor, engage, and create understanding for preparedness issues within the organization. You are collaborative and feel confident leading, driving, and developing work together with others. In addition, you have strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented working style that allows you to translate complex issues into concrete and actionable measures.
