As one of 10 district managers, you will have a fun, challenging, and varied overall responsibility for 16 stores stretching from Ludvika to Sala, based in Västerås.

You work to create sales growth and strengthen the profitability of the stores. In close collaboration with the company's various functions, you inspire, motivate, and support the development of the store managers in your district. Your goal is to increase efficiency and sales together with your store managers in line with the company's operational guidelines and internal policies.

The role of district manager involves intensive but varied working days. It is important that you are a structured person with an optimistic mindset. Leading remotely is not foreign to you, and being on the road is a prerequisite for success in the role of district manager.

As a district manager, you report directly to the Sales Director.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Ensure the stores' budget is met and adhered to
• Act as a sounding board for the district with the aim of driving sales and ensuring a good working environment for all employees
• Actively participate in assortment issues and be involved in merchandise supply for the stores
• Ensure that the stores meet the requirements for fill rate and standard according to the chain's concept
• Responsible for the recruitment of store managers in case of vacancies and ensure store managers have the right competence and tools
• Conduct negotiations together with trade unions with support from the HR department

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have at least 5 years of experience as a leader in retail, and experience with the retail collective agreement and basic labor law is an advantage
• Are business-driven and results-oriented
• Have experience working actively towards set sales targets
• Are pedagogical and keep your cool in stressful situations
• Dare to take initiative and have innovation skills
