We are now looking for a future-oriented engineer with experience in technical forecasting and environmental scanning, driven by a strong passion for new defense technology. About the role

As the project manager for the Swedish Armed Forces' assignments within technical forecasting and environmental scanning, you will play a central role in capturing the latest trends in defense-related technology development. You will also contribute to information efforts such as lectures and publications on current technical topics.

The role involves project responsibility for the agency's assignments in technical forecasting, while giving you the freedom to create an overview and build networks within Swedish authorities. You will also drive technology scouting and knowledge mapping with defense relevance at Swedish universities and companies.

You are expected to present results to management groups, organize workshops and seminars twice a year, and participate as the Swedish representative in international organizations related to technological development, primarily within NATO and the EU.

The position is located in Stockholm.

About you

We are looking for you who have a degree as a civil engineer or have acquired equivalent competence in another way that we assess as equal. You are also expected to have research experience with international organizations or have worked with international technical development work. A basic requirement is that you have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you understand military problem areas or have relevant experience from the defense sector. We would like to see that you have previous experience working in an authority or a large company. We view it positively if you can show examples of how you have made deep technical understanding accessible.
