CJ Automotive is now looking for an Electronics Engineer who wants to work on the development of advanced sensor systems for the automotive industry. The role involves broad responsibilities within electronics development, where you work closely with both customers and internal project teams throughout the entire product development process.

About the role

In the role of Electronics Engineer, you will work with both existing contactless sensors and the development of new innovative solutions. You are responsible for the entire process from idea and design to testing and validation. The work is conducted according to the APQP model, and you are involved in projects all the way to series production. The role also includes assisting in the creation of prototypes and production equipment. You will be a key person in the dialogue with the customer's technical experts and ensure that solutions meet both functional requirements and industry standards.

You will be part of customer-oriented project teams consisting of project managers, designers, production engineers, and quality engineers. The role requires flexibility, technical knowledge, and the ability to drive projects forward in a varied and dynamic environment.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest and experience in electronics development, preferably within the automotive or another technically advanced industry. You are educated as a university engineer, civil engineer, or alternatively hold a master's degree in electronics and/or embedded systems, and thrive in a role where you combine technical problem-solving with collaboration and customer dialogue.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have good knowledge of electronics system design, including schematic design and layout, as well as experience in software development for embedded systems. You have worked with verification and validation of electronics and have an understanding of test strategies, environmental requirements, and robust designs adapted for demanding environments within the automotive sector. Knowledge of Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) and EMC-related requirements are also important for the role.

We believe you are a person who takes responsibility, works systematically, and finds it easy to collaborate with both colleagues and customers. You have good communication skills and express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

Requirements for the position:

• University degree, Civil Engineer, or Master's in Electronics and/or Embedded Systems
• Experience in designing electronics systems, schematic design, and layout
• Good knowledge of verification and validation of electronics, including test strategies and environmental requirements
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience in specifying requirements for electronic systems, components, and production for series manufacturing
• Experience with automation systems
