Each year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) makes 21 million decisions that impact people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 260 billion SEK annually. These are tax funds we are entrusted with, which is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we delve into every case, adhere to laws and regulations, inform and guide, care, and show consideration. This is a job for you if you want to take responsibility. Welcome to Försäkringskassan.
Here, you will find varied and advanced work in a pleasant work environment, with good opportunities for work-life balance. If you also value a well-functioning collaboration with your colleagues and want to become part of a socially important mission, this position might be for you.
Data Analyst, Business Intelligence, and Product Management
The Decision Support Information area works on producing statistics and data products used in the management, control, and development of Försäkringskassan's operations. The mandate also includes making data accessible through visualization, reports, and self-service, as well as developing common working methods, standards, and tools.
As an analyst here, you work closely with both operations and IT in joint development initiatives. You translate needs into data products and contribute to structuring, prioritizing, and developing a common intake process.
You need to understand how data is used in operations, be able to break down needs, and contribute to ensuring the work is done in a structured manner with the right focus. This means you think in terms of reusable solutions that create value over time.
The role of analyst can involve different focuses depending on the team and needs. This could, for example, involve
- working close to operations with requirements, prioritization, and structure in intake and data products
- developing and maintaining BI solutions, visualizations, and reports, including data processing and data extraction
- contributing to the development of self-service solutions and user support
- contributing in a more system- or method-oriented context with a focus on tools, standards, working methods, and quality in data production.
You are meticulous and work systematically even in pressured situations and can create structure where it is lacking.
The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who are to work with us, have a high level of security awareness.
This is a job for you if you want to take responsibility.
We are looking for someone who

- can understand and analyze complex issues
- is confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations
