Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in economics or other relevant education, as well as at least 3 years of experience as a Business Controller or in a similar qualified economic role.
• Experience in financial analysis of projects, follow-up, and reporting, as well as experience working closely with project operations and supporting economic and business matters.
• Very good knowledge of Office 365, especially Excel at both practical and advanced levels.
• Ability to analyze deviations between plan and outcome, draw clear conclusions, and work proactively to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Class B driver’s license.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• 5 years of experience or more as a Business Controller or in another qualified economic role.
• Experience from industrial operations.
• Previous experience in analyzing, challenging, and improving customer projects, e.g., regarding cost, time, and efficiency.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, especially within the Professional Services version.
• Experience in change management, process development, or business development.
• Good knowledge of French, both spoken and written.

What does the role entail?

In the role of Business Controller, you will work broadly within the finance processes with a focus on project controlling.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Participate in the review of quotations and economic calculations, responsible for price and cost controls regarding both pre- and post-calculations.
• Perform monthly project follow-ups including cost/profit analysis and support/train project managers in financial project management.
• Analyze budget deviations.
• Carry out and register profit settlements.
• Book CAPEX and calculate the capitalization of internal costs.
• Participate in the company's business management by creating decision support materials with an economic connection to the operations.
• Participate in reporting to owners and authorities.
• Actively participate in improvement work to achieve the department's and company's goals.

In the role, you work primarily with Cyclife's customer projects, which are often long-term and can last for several years. The work takes place in close collaboration with managers, project managers, and different business areas where you function as an important economic support in the organization. You become part of the Controlling Team, consisting of four people, where you have a central role in the company's financial management.
