About the role

Perido is currently recruiting a helpdesk employee for our client, who supports small and medium-sized enterprises across various industries throughout Sweden in their development towards sustainable growth. Through financing and business development, more companies with potential get the opportunity to realize their ideas. You will work from the client's office in Stockholm, three days a week, 08:00–17:00.

Your responsibilities

In the role of helpdesk employee, you provide quick and professional IT support on-site at the office. You are solution-oriented, service-minded, and thrive in a social role where you support users in their daily work. You are expected to drive your own initiatives and work on more extensive projects within the company. The work is practical and varied, focusing on troubleshooting both hardware and software, and you will become a key part of creating a smooth and functional work environment.

A selection of daily tasks:

• Ensure that daily operations run smoothly.
• Perform troubleshooting and assess the best ways to resolve issues.
• Act as a local IT technician primarily working with the operation and development of the authority's local network environment and communication between computers in the same building.
• Provide support and assistance to users.
• Manage data communication, operations, and data security in larger network environments with computers in various locations and in global networks.
• Test new products and inform users about updates and new features.
• Install and configure computers that manage network communication, such as routers, servers, and workstations.
• Work on securing IT operations (e.g., installing firewalls).
• Install software and configure it for the network.
• Take technical responsibility for IT equipment in conference rooms, such as video conferencing systems.
• Manage backups.
• Administer standard systems such as email and calendar.
• Administer backup, storage, and application servers.

You are service-oriented, helpful, and thrive in a role where you meet users with varying levels of IT proficiency daily. You work in a structured and meticulous manner while being solution-oriented with a clear "can do" attitude. When new needs arise, you are flexible and quick to adapt. You are confident in your interactions with people, communicative, and have a natural ability to build trust. At the same time, you take initiative, prioritize your work efficiently, and have a desire to learn and develop within IT.

Qualifications:

• University degree in IT (e.g., Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on data) or other equivalent IT education, plus at least two (2) years of relevant work experience. Alternatively, upper secondary education or equivalent plus four (4) years of relevant work experience.
• Very good knowledge of computers, peripherals, operating systems, networks, communication, and information security.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
• Knowledge of case management systems (e.g., Easit GO or ServiceNow).
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Scope and start date

Part-time 24 hours/week, consultancy assignment until December. Immediate start.
