We are now looking for a certified special needs teacher with a focus on intellectual disability for the individual program at the Adapted Upper Secondary School.

You have pedagogical experience working with this student group, as well as experience documenting your work. Familiarity and knowledge of the student group are prerequisites. You have good experience working with clarifying pedagogy, extra adaptations, and digital tools. A low-affective approach in your interactions is second nature to you.

We also expect that you are well-versed in the curriculum's value base and knowledge mandate, and have the ability to create a good learning environment and secure relationships with the students. It is a given that you strengthen the students' personal development, facilitate interactions with people, and contribute to the students' enthusiasm for the future.

The position involves teaching in the subject areas of the individual program at the Adapted Upper Secondary School.

Qualifications

• Certified special needs teacher with a focus on intellectual disability.

Merits

• Experience from working in adapted school forms and/or working with young people within the target group for adapted school forms.
• Good knowledge of digital aids.

Other

• Interviews are conducted continuously throughout the application period.
• We apply a six-month probationary period.
