Your role as a coordinating professional
Svevia in Tanumshede is now looking for you who wants to work as a coordinating professional with a focus on operations and maintenance. You will primarily work practically in production, for example, with inspections and various types of roadwork. You will also support foremen and site managers with administrative tasks in daily operations. You assist with our customer contracts, ranging from invoicing to follow-up using digital tools. The position also includes on-call duties.
Who are you? You enjoy working with both practical and administrative tasks and like interacting with people. We assume that you are a helpful, unpretentious, and social person who is also responsible and efficient in your professional role. We believe that your sense of service is instinctive and that you meet challenges in a solution-oriented manner.
To succeed in this role, we consider it a requirement that you have:
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Category B driver's license
It is also highly meritorious if you have a Category C driver's license and experience from working with operations and maintenance. YKB and APV certifications are also meritorious for the position.
Since the role also involves administrative tasks, we would appreciate that you have experience in administrative work, are computer literate, and master the basics of the Office suite.
As a person, you are solution-oriented, organized, and have an easy way with others. It is important that you are positive and engaged in your work. You thrive working efficiently and in a structured manner.
The idea is that you will gradually grow into the role and the company, enabling you to take on more advanced tasks later on. There is an opportunity to further develop into a foreman position. We value your drive and your willingness to learn more.
Part of something bigger
Svevia is today Sweden's largest operations contractor. Within operations and maintenance, we handle summer and winter road maintenance for half of the state's road network. Many municipalities, private companies, and road associations hire us to take care of their roads and outdoor environments.
With us, you contribute to a larger whole. We plow for the family heading to the mountains. We ensure that commercial goods transports reach their destinations and keep streets, squares, and parks clean and tidy. Additionally, we protect lives on the road through our offerings in traffic safety measures.
Why Svevia?
With us, you quickly become part of the team, and we strive to be a workplace for everyone. Decision-making paths are short, and it is easy to make your voice heard. At the same time, you become part of a practical reality and a company where concrete results are created with steaming asphalt machines, large snowplows, and tons of rebar and concrete. With your professional expertise, you can make a difference on the road. And we always put safety first – both with care for your own working environment and the safety of others.
For you who want to take the next step in development, there are many opportunities. Whether you want to deepen your knowledge in your specific area or move forward into a leadership position. Together, we make cities and the countryside function. Do you want to share the road with us?
