Employer Support is looking for an HR Generalist who wants to be part of the creative and energetic team that, among other things, handles our customer service known as HR Direct.
The Employer Support Detail belongs to the Headquarters, and we are located in the scenic Gärdet area, surrounded by greenery and pleasant walking and training opportunities. One of the Swedish Armed Forces' benefits is that we have the opportunity to train for three hours a week during working hours.
About the team
Employer Support is the Swedish Armed Forces' central support for HR matters and has the task of supporting the Armed Forces' managers and local HR departments throughout the country as an advisory function.
The team consists of a cohesive group of 6 HR Generalists with experience in broad HR work. The team sits together with other colleagues at the detail in an open office landscape for close collaboration where we utilize each other's experiences and competencies.
About the position
In the role of HR Generalist, you will support the Swedish Armed Forces' employer representatives in a consultative and pedagogical manner. You will provide broad support in HR matters with a focus on agreements and terms. In addition, you will participate in planning and conducting training. You will collaborate closely with your colleagues at the detail, as well as with specialist functions within HR Center, to provide the best possible support to managers and local HR. You will also be assigned subject areas where you are responsible for maintaining and updating the team's knowledge database to ensure uniform and correct information. Furthermore, you will work with your colleagues to further develop and streamline the team's internal work, including through ongoing digitalization efforts.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Academic degree in the HR field, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent
- Current work experience in broad HR work, at least one year
- Current experience from working in a consultative role and in customer support
- Very good ability to express yourself pedagogically in both speech and writing in Swedish and English
Personal qualities
To succeed in the role, we see that you have good collaboration skills and create trust. It is also important that you represent established guidelines, processes, and current legislation. You have a desire to simplify the daily lives of managers and local HR representatives through a solution-oriented approach. You strive to provide the best possible service and can view the operations from multiple perspectives. You can work independently and structured, and you have good communication skills. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
Meritorious
- Experience working within a complex organization/authority, preferably the Swedish Armed Forces
- Experience planning and conducting training for managers
- Knowledge of the SAP system or another system that the employer deems equivalent

Employment type: Fixed-term contract from September 2026 or by agreement until August 2027.

The Headquarters houses the Supreme Commander and the Director General. The Headquarters has approximately 1,000 employees – both professional officers and civilian experts. As of January 1, 2023, the Headquarters consists of the Defence Staff, the Operations Command, the Military Intelligence and Security Service, as well as the Headquarters Staff Department and independent units for supervision.
