Welcome home to Elon Johanssons Mekaniska! Johanssons Mekaniska has been in operation since 1949. We currently have stores in both Vetlanda and Eksjö. Our focus is on home products – kitchens, white goods, and home electronics. Johanssons Mekaniska is part of the Elon chain, a retail chain consisting of independent specialist traders in both Sweden and the Nordic region, with over 400 stores in Sweden alone. We are a store in development. We are currently in an exciting phase where we are renovating and creating a completely new kitchen department – and you will get to help shape it.

Your responsibilities

In the role of Kitchen Sales Consultant, you will enjoy a creative and varied daily routine. You will meet customers in the store, listen to their needs, and design kitchen solutions using the Winner drawing program. You will also conduct home visits to measure kitchens for both private individuals and businesses. You will also work with our social media, where you will creatively plan, create, and publish inspiring content that highlights our products, projects, and store environment. Here, you will have great freedom to use your creativity and influence how we present ourselves externally. In addition to kitchen sales, you will work on selling other products in the store and participate in daily store operations. You will also be involved in the design of our new kitchen showroom, where your ideas and sense of design will be a key part of the whole.

Your background and skills

We are looking for someone with an interest in design, interior decoration, and trends. You thrive in interactions with people and enjoy working creatively – both in drawing programs and on social media. Attention to detail and a service-oriented mindset are important qualities for this role, as well as self-drive and the ability to take responsibility for your tasks. Experience with drawing programs is advantageous, especially Winner, but the most important thing is that you are curious and eager to develop. You also need to be flexible and appreciate a workday that alternates between customer meetings, creative tasks, practical duties, and store work.

What we offer

Working hours on weekdays are 09:00–18:00, and on certain Saturdays 10:00–14:00. If you work on Saturdays, you are off on a weekday during the week. The position is 80–100%, depending on your preferences.
