Are you at the beginning of your HR career and want to develop in a broad and varied role? We are now looking for a driven and non-hierarchical HR generalist for a newly established unit that is in a development phase. You do not need to know everything from the start, but we are looking for you who have an education in HR, strong drive, and thrive in an environment where change, development, and new ways of working are a natural part of everyday life.

About the role
You will belong to the Garrison Unit at the Life Guards. The role is part of the personnel department where you will be one of two employees and work closely with the HR Manager, who is also your direct supervisor.
The HR Manager is initially responsible for operational and developmental HR work, and together you will drive daily personnel work and provide support to the business. The personnel function supports three units with varied operations where both military and civilian managers operate at different levels. In total, the operations cover approximately 30 managers and around 250 employees, which means many contact surfaces and a broad variation in daily work. As the organization is newly established, it is still in development, which means that working methods and areas of responsibility may change over time.
Main responsibilities
In the role, you will work closely with the HR Manager with a main focus on recruitment and HR administration. You will support managers through the entire recruitment process and contribute to the induction of new employees. The work also includes administrative HR processes and personnel matters, where you, among other things, prepare decision support materials, reports, and handle administration in various HR systems.
Furthermore, you will provide support and guidance to managers in personnel-related issues and be an operational support in daily HR work.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in HR/personnel science
- Previous work experience that the employer deems relevant for the position
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing
- Good administrative skills
- Good knowledge of the Office package and good system understanding
- Valid driver's license (Category B)

The role requires that you are solution-oriented, flexible, and confident in working in an operation where conditions and needs may change over time. We also see that you are curious and unafraid to take on new tasks and have a desire to develop within the HR field.
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
Merits
- Previous experience of administrative work, preferably within HR
- Experience of recruitment
- Experience of HR systems and report generation
- Experience of preparing decision support materials or personnel-related documentation
