About the Role

The Elderly Care department is the administration's largest area, responsible for special housing, group homes, short-term care, security housing, home care services, support for relatives, meeting places, and authority case processing.

Svalliden Home Care covers the areas of Svalliden, Döderhult, and surrounding rural areas. We hope that you, specifically, want to be part of our wonderful team! There is 1 position available.

Job Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant with us, you work closely with people in their own homes and contribute every day to creating security, dignity, and quality of life. You work based on approved interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and perform health and medical care interventions according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).

In this role, you will, among other things:

• Provide personal care and support in daily life.
• Perform care and service interventions in the home.
• Work with activation and rehabilitation.
• Perform delegated medical tasks.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a good working environment.
• Participate in quality and development work.

You will be based at Svalliden Home Care, but work in other groups may occur. Here, you will become an important part of a team where we support each other, laugh together, and always put the individual's well-being at the center. We work based on the social services' value foundation and strive to create a workplace where both employees and care recipients thrive and develop.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a Care Assistant or have a comparable education as assessed by the employer. Experience in the profession is meritorious.

You are confident in yourself and have a professional and positive attitude. In your work, you are empathetic, receptive, and always treat others with respect. You take responsibility for your tasks and have good collaboration skills, which means you enjoy working with others. At the same time, you are flexible and feel comfortable in a high-paced operation. You also have a good ability to see both the big picture and each individual's unique needs and prerequisites.

We require:

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Basic computer skills.
• A valid B-driver's license.
