We are now welcoming a Health Care Strategist to the Department of Health Care Governance within the Corporate Office!

The Department of Health Care Governance (HSS) supports Region Skåne's political organization and corporate management with task assignments and monitoring of the combined health care system. Our mission is to contribute to a coherent and well-functioning health care system, based on the needs of the inhabitants and the efficient use of resources. The department is an active participant in the national work that develops the health care system.

HSS includes the areas of Accessibility and Knowledge Management, Tasks, Contract Management and Digitalization, the Regional Cancer Centre South, as well as an administrative unit. In addition, there are functional responsibilities within R&D, pharmaceuticals, and patient safety.

To the Unit for Knowledge Management (EKS), we are now looking for a Health Care Strategist who, through work with fact-based materials and operational collaboration, wants to contribute to the development of Skåne's health care with a focus on knowledge in Region Skåne.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you work based on different types of assignments, including analyzing needs, care capacity, and monitoring of health care at the regional level. The overall assignment includes investigation work, report writing, as well as the creation of materials and presentations. The role combines a strategic perspective with a clear implementation focus and means that you work closely with both management and employees in the daily development work. The assignment involves independent work to drive and follow up on political matters and assignments or needs arising from operations, either individually or in collaboration.

Our assignments are based on regional needs that are constantly changing, and we meet these varying assignments with a flexible approach. The role also involves collaboration with other units within the Department of Health Care Governance and the Corporate Office, as well as cooperation with other administrations in Region Skåne.

You will work in a dynamic environment where the content of the assignment may vary, and our goal is to meet the challenges we see in Region Skåne with interventions that respond to them. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a relevant higher education for the position, preferably in political science, health care, economics, or similar. You have a great understanding of and knowledge of health care issues regardless of operational form. In addition, you have experience of investigation and development work in a politically governed organization, and it is meritorious if you have experience of work within the health care area. You speak Swedish and English fluently and express yourself very well in writing in the Swedish language. In addition, you have experience of sorting, analyzing, and evaluating relevance related to factual materials, operational development, and monitoring. Process leadership training is seen as meritorious.

To succeed in the role, we see that you are accustomed to working with strategic issues at a higher organizational level and have the ability to translate strategies and models into concrete actions that create added value in the daily operations within Region Skåne's operations. Driving processes for monitoring and evaluation presupposes that you have the ability to see and understand the connections between the whole and the parts, and that you can drive development work through dialogue and collaboration within the various parts of the operations. Your working style is proactive, and you are an analytical, driving, and improvement-minded person. Since engagement in groups and networks is central to the role, we see that you have an approach that promotes collaboration, where you build trust and create engagement and get others on board in change journeys.
