SJR is now hiring an Accounting Assistant

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant for our client, a large corporation with offices just south of central Stockholm. This is a full-time consultancy position through SJR, starting immediately and initially running until the end of the year. There are good opportunities for extension or direct employment with the client afterwards.

About the role

Here you will become part of an engaged and friendly team in the accounting department, where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a positive atmosphere are a natural part of everyday life. The role offers a flexible workday with the possibility of remote work one day a week, creating good conditions for a balance between work and leisure. For this position, it is a requirement that you are available to work throughout the summer, as the need is greatest during this period.

Responsibilities

• Handling manual payments
• Registration and reconciliation of incoming payments
• Ongoing bookkeeping related to payment flows
• Other common tasks within the finance department

Suitable background

We are looking for you who have a high school education in economics and are at the beginning of your career, with at least two years of experience as an accounting or finance assistant. You have good knowledge of Excel, are system savvy, and find it easy to adapt to new ways of working and tools. Previous experience with Visma is an advantage. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. In the role, you work with larger transaction flows and use several different systems to handle and follow up on payment information, which contributes to a varied workday and good opportunities for development.

Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and have a genuine interest in numbers, especially since some payments require analysis and investigation. You feel confident handling larger payment flows and the pace and responsibility that come with it. At the same time, you have an eye for improvements and efficiency, thrive in a changing environment, and do not mind tasks involving some manual handling.
