Folkuniversitetet offers day and evening courses as well as lectures in areas such as languages, economics, communication, writing, and aesthetic subjects. Our courses are primarily aimed at private individuals, but also associations and companies.

About the assignment

We are looking for more course leaders within the humanities, society, culture, and creative subjects. We are looking for, among others, you who want to teach in economics, AI, history, philosophy, music, behavioral science, or writing – but other subjects may also be relevant.

Our courses are mainly conducted in the evenings, but it may also be relevant to offer courses during the day and on weekends in our premises located in Borås.

You plan and conduct your courses independently, as well as follow up and register attendance.

Your competence and background

You have a great interest and expertise in the subject area and find joy in teaching others. Previous experience in teaching adults is meritorious. Since the teaching is conducted in Swedish, you should be able to express yourself well in Swedish.

As a course leader at Folkuniversitetet, you are expected to have the ability to individualize teaching and bring out each individual's potential. It is important that you enjoy imparting knowledge and see the positive aspects of course participants developing. You are flexible, receptive, and structured, and are accustomed to working independently. We also assume that you share our view on the equal value of people and their right to knowledge.

Employment type

The employment is a project-based employment (employment per course) with remuneration per study hour. Planning takes place in close collaboration with responsible staff at Folkuniversitetet.
