Responsibilities

As a nurse at our Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) clinic, we offer stimulating work with significant personal responsibility. Here you meet patients with chronic kidney failure who undergo their dialysis treatment at home. Your task is to educate, support, and secure the patient as well as their relatives throughout the entire care chain. The focus is on person-centered care and long-term follow-up.

At the Dialysis Clinic, you work in a team with several nurses and nursing assistants and are responsible for blood dialysis treatments at the hospital. We actively work with patient education to strengthen participation and self-care, and several patients undergo the treatment independently.

We are looking for employees who can combine work at both clinics, or work solely at the blood dialysis unit. Combining clinic work with the Nephrology and Endocrinology Department is also an option. As a new employee, you will participate in our training program. During eight weeks at the blood dialysis unit, two supervisors will guide you into the work. At the PD clinic, you will be introduced based on our competence model. After a while, you will take on the role of nursing coordinator for a number of patients. Continuous development is a given with us, and working in our areas of responsibility is an important part of everyday life.

The Dialysis Clinic operates as a day activity center Monday to Saturday, with evening hours open until 20:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The PD clinic is open during daytime hours.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in dialysis and/or nephrological care.

You enjoy challenges, human relationships, and medical technology. Since the role requires a strong pedagogical approach, we are looking for someone who is skilled in and appreciates organizing and conducting training initiatives for staff and patients. You work in a structured manner, are confident, and communicate clearly. Experience with Cosmic is meritorious. Good knowledge of Swedish is required.

Employment terms

We offer both permanent positions and temporary assignments. Working hours are day/evening, Monday–Saturday, with individual schedule planning.

Start date by agreement.
