About the role

As a VENT Estimator with us, you work in the early stages of projects. Your main task is to produce precise calculations and technical system solutions based on A-drawings and framework documents, primarily within general contracting.

Since you often work with incomplete documentation, you are expected to make qualified assumptions and design ventilation systems and technical solutions yourself before quantifying and pricing the work.

You are also a key link in the design phase, contributing an estimation perspective and influencing system choices, flows, and technical solutions in dialogue with designers and consultants to ensure functionality, quality, and profitability.

Your responsibilities

• Prepare calculations and technical ventilation solutions in early stages
• Make qualified assessments and design system layouts when documentation is incomplete
• Quantify and price your own system solutions
• Participate in and influence design based on calculation prerequisites
• Ensure cost-effective solutions that meet customer requirements
• Handle contacts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Responsible for the entire tender process – from request to finished bid

Requirements and qualifications

• Experience as an estimator within ventilation
• Good technical understanding and ability to dimension ventilation systems
• Experience with Bluebeam, Excel, and calculation software (e.g., Wikells)
• Fluent in Swedish (written and spoken)

Preferred qualifications:

• Background as a ventilation designer, consultant, or project manager
• Engineering degree
