About the role

As a Piping Estimator with us, you work in the early stages of projects. Your main task is to produce precise estimates and innovative technical solutions based on A-drawings and framework documents, primarily within total contracts. Since you often work with incomplete data, you are expected to make qualified assumptions and design system solutions and layouts yourself before quantifying and pricing the work.

You also play a key role in the design phase, contributing an estimation perspective and influencing material choices and technical solutions in dialogue with designers and consultants to ensure both quality and profitability.

Your responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and technical system solutions in early stages.
• Make qualified assessments and design layouts when working with incomplete data.
• Quantify and price your own system solutions.
• Participate in and influence design based on the conditions of the estimate.
• Ensure cost-effective solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Manage contacts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Responsible for the entire tender process – from inquiry to final bid.

Requirements and qualifications

• Experience as an estimator in piping.
• Good technical understanding and ability to dimension systems.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Excel, and estimation software (e.g., BidCon or Wikells).
• Fluent in Swedish (written and spoken).
• Meritorious: Background as an HVAC designer, consultant, or project manager, as well as an engineering degree.
