Project Manager / Technical Lead Rock Engineering – Norconsult Stockholm

In Stockholm, we are approximately 200 cheerful colleagues who moved into a beautiful, newly renovated office on East Kungsholmen a year ago. We want to further strengthen and continue developing our rock engineering group in Stockholm, and are now looking for a Project Manager / Technical Lead to, among other things:

• Work with our other Stockholm colleagues in multidisciplinary design assignments, investigations, preliminary studies, construction site follow-ups, and other types of assignments we currently handle.
• Collaborate with rock engineering colleagues in Stockholm and with our 30 eminent rock engineering colleagues across the country in a wide variety of assignments, including design, rock mechanics analysis, inspections, geological investigations, hydropower, mining operations, grouting, blasting technology, construction supervision, and everything else related to rock engineering.
• Use our local presence to take an even more active grip on the Stockholm market moving forward, embracing all the exciting opportunities and challenges that come with it.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in, and who finds it fun and exciting to take responsibility for and lead work processes in design assignments as a Project Manager and/or Technical Lead in Rock Engineering.

To succeed in this role, you need:

• A minimum 3-year relevant university degree
• At least 8 years of experience in the field
• A commitment to continuous improvement and a focus on the customer's best interests.

Most importantly, you must enjoy working broadly and be eager to develop in the directions you find most interesting, together with a fantastic rock engineering team in Gothenburg, Karlstad, Ludvika, Stockholm, Luleå & Kiruna!
