We are looking for a qualified investigator for the social services' departmental support, with a focus on development, change management, and digitalization. In this role, you will work closely with the two departmental leadership teams within the social services business area and provide strategic support for business development. You will become part of a business area that drives development towards a more sustainable, equitable, and knowledge-based social service.

 

About the position

As an investigator in the departmental support, you have a central and supportive role close to the departmental leadership. In your role, you will contribute to the agency's development through, among other things, digitalization and change management.

You will become part of a team that supports both departmental leadership teams in planning meetings and preparing materials. You are responsible for producing and compiling materials, analyzing and structuring information prior to meetings, coordinating internal and external contacts, and contributing to strategic development and quality within the social services business area.

The tasks are varied and can consist of both short-term operational tasks and strategic, overarching responsibilities.

As an investigator, you will among other things:

  • Be responsible for the department managers' participation in various contexts, which includes producing and compiling materials, analyzing and structuring information prior to meetings, and coordinating internal and external contacts.
  • Monitor the external environment and produce written materials, memos, and reports that serve as decision support for management.
  • Handle routine staff duties, such as responding to correspondence from various actors.
  • Prepare and lead work meetings, workshops, and activities within the business area.

 

About you

We are looking for someone who is able to work independently and can prioritize and handle urgent tasks requiring quick feedback to management. You monitor issues related to social services from a holistic perspective and analyze current societal issues related to social services.

We are looking for someone who has

  • An academic degree that the agency deems relevant for the position.
  • Current experience in qualified investigative work.
  • Experience in producing and compiling materials, analyses, and decision support prior to meetings with external contacts.
  • Ability to express yourself very well in writing and in oral presentations in Swedish and English.
  • Experience in change management.

Meritorious

  • Understanding of the social services' mission and the systems in which it operates.
  • Experience working at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister's Office or in assignments involving contact with ministries.
  • Experience in strategic work in a staff function/close to leadership.
  • Experience in business development through digitalization.

 

Good to know

The employment is permanent and begins with a probationary period of six months. You are based at the office on Västerbroplan in Stockholm, but have the opportunity to work remotely up to 2 days a week. In the spring of 2027, we will move to Solna Strand. Your job title will be Investigator and your placement will be the Social Services business area.
