We are looking for a Machine Vision Engineer who thrives at the intersection of optics, software, and manufacturing intelligence. You won't just maintain systems — you will shape how machines see the world. If you have mastered Cognex VisionPro, love debugging stereo vision setups, and write clean C# code, this role is built for you.

  • Develop, configure, and maintain machine vision systems using Cognex VisionPro for inspection and measurement.
  • Write, modify, and optimize C# scripts to power and enhance vision applications.
  • Set up, calibrate, and debug 2D stereo (binocular) positioning systems from scratch.
  • Tune and troubleshoot vision systems at measurement and inspection stations on live production lines.
  • Integrate vision solutions into production environments and ensure stable, reliable performance.
  • Work alongside automation, mechanical, and software teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Document system configurations, calibration procedures, and debugging processes for long-term maintainability.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Automation, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Cognex VisionPro or a comparable industrial vision platform.
  • Strong proficiency in C# scripting and software development within vision applications.
  • Solid understanding of 2D stereo vision principles and end-to-end calibration workflows.
  • Proven experience debugging vision systems in inspection or measurement environments.
  • Familiarity with the DCCK framework or a similar software architecture.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Sweden (valid work permit or EU/EEA citizenship required).
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) language is an added advantage.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in industrial automation or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of camera calibration, image processing, and optical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving instincts and ability to spot root causes, not just symptoms.
  • Self-starter who communicates clearly and thrives within cross-functional teams.
