About the role

At SISAB, you will work in a socially important company with a clear mission. As a leading actor in school real estate, we create sustainable, safe, and long-term educational environments for children and young people in Stockholm.

As a Business Strategist, you work broadly with everything from qualified management support, coordination of investigations and strategic issues, to operational planning and implementation. A key function is collaboration – between units and departments within SISAB, with other operations in Stockholm City, and with external actors. You are expected to provide ongoing support, including acting as a link in communication, creating alignment, and transforming needs and visions into concrete solutions.

The position is located in our CEO's office, which is responsible for business planning, board matters, consultations, sustainability strategies, as well as communication and marketing issues. You report to the Department Manager and will work closely with the current Business Strategist.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Develop the company's systematic business follow-up based on ownership directives, plans, and management assignments
• Assist other departments with change management, project management, development of administrative processes, and formulate proposals for measures
• Support other departments in work with governing documents and processes
• Provide support to the management group in matters concerning business follow-up and business plans
• Represent SISAB in, among others, international networks, emergency preparedness and total defense networks, and networks against welfare crime
• Conduct environmental scanning within the scope of the assignment

We are currently located at Palmfelt Center in the Globen area and will move in October 2026 to new premises next to Luma Park in Hammarby Sjöstad. Flexibility and the possibility to work from home are available, but we prefer that you primarily work from the office.

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Desired start date is as soon as possible, taking into account any notice period.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least five years of experience in qualified work within business control, strategic development, change management, project management, or equivalent in a larger, complex organization or politically governed operation
• An academically relevant education for the assignment, for example within law, economics, engineering, or alternatively professional experience assessed as equivalent
• Experience working with directives, follow-up, roadmaps, strategies, and policies – at both operational and strategic levels
• Experience working with administrative support, handling and analyzing data, developing materials, writing reports, and creating decision support and presentation materials

It is meritorious if you have:

• Worked within Stockholm City or have other experience that has given you good knowledge and understanding of the city's organization
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness and total defense as well as welfare crime
• Background in law or communication
