Main Responsibilities

We are now looking for you who wants to be part of a successful operation. As a store employee in the delicatessen department at Hemköp Skillingaryd Artillerigatan, you will take significant responsibility for ensuring our customers can easily find what they are looking for. You will ensure that our shelves are well-stocked and that our store is clean and tidy. Together with your colleagues, you will focus on positive customer service, sales, and maintaining the highest quality.

In your role as a store employee in the delicatessen department, you handle meat, fish, charcuterie, and ready-to-eat meals with an understanding of HACCP and Axfood's guidelines for hygiene, health, and food safety. With your burning interest in food, especially delicatessen products, you become an important part of the chain towards an inspiring shopping experience. This position is a holiday cover (temporary) role of 29 hours per week. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, evenings, and weekends.

What We Expect

Liking to work with customers and sales is a prerequisite for the role of store employee in delicatessen. You inspire and contribute with your creativity and knowledge when serving customers according to their needs at our delicatessen counter. We would appreciate it if you had previous experience in delicatessen and ready-made products.

To thrive with us, you should be good at working in a team, be meticulous, structured, and quality-conscious. Additionally, you enjoy a fast-paced environment and are accustomed to working under time pressure. Together with your colleagues, you manage the daily operations, which means you are service- and sales-oriented, and you are happy to work across departmental boundaries in the store.
