The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Tester for our High Power Laboratory. As a Tester, you will work in an advanced test and production environment where you assist and collaborate with a test leader or test engineer to perform high-power tests. Your responsibilities include preparing and carrying out switching operations, performing measurements according to the test leader's instructions, and conducting measurements before and after testing to ensure that the test equipment is functioning correctly. You will also actively engage in documentation and safety procedures. The role involves some maintenance work, maintaining order in the facility, and close collaboration with both technicians and engineers.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Operate and monitor test and production equipment according to procedures and safety regulations.
- Prepare and perform switching operations, settings, and measurements according to facility instructions.
- Conduct measurements and checks before, during, and after testing.
- Identify and resolve minor operational issues or escalate them to the responsible test leader.
- Perform minor maintenance and daily checks of the facility and equipment.
- Conduct quality controls and ensure that test results meet given specifications.
- Maintain accurate logs and update documentation related to tests and operations.
- Contribute to order and safety by keeping the facility clean and organized.
Your Background
- Vocational education in energy technology, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience from production, testing work, laboratories, or test environments is an advantage.
- Basic mechanical and electrical understanding and the ability to perform simple machine adjustments.
- Ability to work carefully, follow instructions, and handle technical documentation.
- Good physical endurance and the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures in manufacturing or testing operations is an advantage.
- Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing. Fluent English is an advantage but not a requirement.
