We are now looking for a careful and driven person for a longer, exciting consulting assignment (18 months) with an established player in the financial market in Stockholm. The role suits you if you have experience from securities operations, corporate actions, or a similar back/middle office function within banking or capital markets.

About the role

In the role, you will work with the management of Swedish and foreign corporate events as well as various types of reconciliations and control moments related to securities administration.

Examples of tasks:

• Management of corporate actions such as:
  • dividends
  • interest coupons
  • bond maturities
  • issuances
  • splits and mergers
• Currency exchange of liquidity related to corporate events
• Reconciliation of:
  • securities positions
  • accounting accounts
  • tax reporting

The role will involve high participation in ongoing digitalization and improvement work, so we appreciate that you have a strong interest in systems. You may be involved in system updates, testing, as well as dialogue and requirement setting with system vendors.

We are looking for you who

• Have 3-10 years of experience from corporate actions, securities operations, settlement, or a similar area
• Have an understanding of securities flows and financial infrastructure
• Are accustomed to working in a structured and detail-oriented manner
• Are self-reliant and confident in taking responsibility
• Have good system proficiency and interest in processes and improvement work

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Abasec
• Euroclear Sweden/Finland
• Power BI
• Swedsec license
