Storlien is located an hour's drive outside Åre village.

Storlien is a small village, right in the mountains of Åre Municipality. Here you will find grocery stores, restaurants, preschool, a ski resort, hiking trails, lakes for fishing, and cross-country and snowmobile tracks. In 2022, Storlien Mountain Hotel got a new owner after a 5-year wait. The hotel currently has approx. 194 rooms, a restaurant, gym, and pool.

About the role:

We are now looking for a service star to join our reception team.

As a receptionist with us, you will primarily handle inquiries, bookings, answer phones, check guests in, assist with questions during the day, check guests out, and serve guests in the reception café/bar. The reception is also the hotel's hub for cash handling and the hotel's first face to the outside world. Therefore, we are looking for a "service-minded" person who finds it easy to absorb new information and convey it to others in a clear and pleasant manner.

Staff accommodation is available.

The role includes among other things:

• Usual reception duties as described above
• Cash handling
• Café/bar service
• Providing "tourist information" to everyone, including non-residents
• Occasionally assisting the cleaning department and catering staff if needed
• Mostly weekends and evening shifts

Good work ethic, cheerful disposition, and reliability are three important qualities we are looking for in you.

Previous experience is desirable. Knowledge of the booking systems Hotsoft & Bookvisit is a plus.
