At Progressio, we help numerous hotels and restaurants throughout Dalarna with their recruitment. These are different types of restaurants, which require different skills and experiences. Here we work with about ten different restaurants, ranging from neighborhood bistros, brasseries, and pubs, to a simple spot serving daily lunch.

This is what your workday looks like

You start your workday by going through the prep list and doing the "mise en place". You grab a coffee at the cutting board, plan, and structure your day. Then, it's just time to get started with the preparations.

A few hours later, it's about cleaning the kitchen, eating staff meals with your colleagues before you set up for service.

During service, you run the kitchen from the pass or the grill. You communicate well with the waitstaff and ensure that guests get what they ordered and are satisfied with the food. As you know, this happens at a high pace. Therefore, preparations are incredibly important.

After service, you tidy up, write prep lists with your colleagues, ensure orders are placed, and check that the flow and cleaning of the kitchen are in order before it's time to end your shift.

THE POSITION

Daytime and evening shifts, varying schedule. Seasonal employment. The position is filled in mid-May/early June.
