Do you want to cook delicious, homemade meals for a small group of children while becoming an integral part of the preschool's daily life?

At Tummelisa, you will be responsible for the kitchen and have the opportunity to participate in activities together with the children.

About the position

We are looking for a chef who can start after the summer. You will be responsible for planning, shopping for, and preparing all daily meals. You work independently in the kitchen but have colleagues nearby.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute purchases based on the budget
• Follow routines for self-control and food hygiene
• Prepare and serve all daily meals
• Keep the kitchen clean and tidy
• Set the table and clean up after meals (wipe tables, sweep floors, etc.)

We are looking for someone who

• Has kitchen experience (preschool experience is a plus)
• Enjoys cooking from scratch and thinks sustainably
• Contributes to a good work environment and has a warm, welcoming attitude

You are also part of the operations:

- You participate in the pedagogical annual calendar, for example by creating dishes related to different themes.

- You spend a few hours a week with the children and guardians when the staff has planning time.

What is a parent cooperative?

At our center, the parents own and run the operations. This means close dialogue, involvement, and that guardians help out in the children's group during certain times.

About us

Tummelisa is a parent cooperative in Odenslund with approximately 18 children, high staff density, and a warm, homely environment. All food is prepared from scratch with a focus on nutritious and varied meals.

We work closely with both children and parents to create a preschool focused on the best interests of the children.
