Job Description

As a supervisory case handler, you will have overall responsibility for the supervision of alcohol and serving licenses, as well as tobacco and similar products such as over-the-counter medicines and tobacco-free nicotine products. In this role, you will interact with the general public and business operators while exercising public authority. The work includes both strategic planning and ongoing supervision in several different areas. Operational supervision is a central part of the job, where control purchases are followed up and new ones are planned. Incoming reports are reviewed continuously, and information is sent to restaurateurs and retail regarding news and other important changes within the area of operations.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with other supervisory authorities. Statistics are compiled and submitted. Responses are prepared for, among others, NKI and Länsrapporten's survey. In addition, there is continuous development work in the area. The work also involves participating in network meetings and collaborating with other actors to strengthen and streamline supervision. The position includes evening and weekend supervision.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant university education, for example in economics, law, or other equivalent education.
• Work experience in licensing, suitability assessments, supervision, or other qualified investigations.
• Experience in exercising public authority.
• Very good ability to read and interpret legal texts and court rulings.
• Very good communicative skills in spoken and written Swedish.
• A B driver's license is required for the position.

We consider the following to be meritorious:

• Experience in supervision work within alcohol and tobacco.
• Experience in handling alcohol and tobacco cases.
• Experience from the food or environmental sector.
• Knowledge of the case management systems AlkT and OL2.
• Experience in financial auditing, particularly related to combating economic crime.
