Responsibilities

At our organization, HR works together to create accessible, professional, and operationally close support for the municipality's managers and operations. As an HR Coordinator/Junior HR Generalist, you will play a key role in coordinating, quality-assuring, and developing our HR processes and administrative practices.

The role is broad and varied, and is suitable for you who wish to develop within HR and gradually take on greater responsibility in the area.

In this role, you will among other things:

  • Monitor and coordinate cases in HR support
  • Provide support to managers in practical HR questions and HR processes
  • Support HR partners in operational and administrative HR processes
  • Coordinate parts of the recruitment process, including vacancy reviews and advertising
  • Administer and coordinate central cooperation and administration cooperation
  • Work with HR systems, system administration, and permission management
  • Develop routines, templates, and administrative practices
  • Contribute to a uniform, legally secure, and efficient HR work across the entire municipality.

You will work closely with HR partners, the HR Manager, and other functions within the HR unit and become an important part of our new cohesive HR structure.

About the workplace

The Municipal Executive Board Administration's task is to lead, coordinate, and follow up on the municipality's operations. We ensure that the municipality functions efficiently and that residents receive the services they need, while supporting elected officials and administrations.

HR is part of the Support and Development division together with the municipality's other support functions. Our task is to deliver operationally close support and advice to the municipality's managers and operations. The unit also drives strategic development and follows up on work to ensure that laws and regulations within the HR area are followed. The unit is led by an HR Manager and consists of eight HR partners, one HR Coordinator, one wellness consultant, and one administrator.

Our unit is characterized by burning engagement, good collaboration, collegial learning, and for us, it is important to have fun together. As an HR Coordinator, you will become an important part of the team and have the opportunity to develop broadly within HR in close collaboration with experienced HR colleagues.

What we are looking for in you

We are looking for you who have a relevant university education in HR/personnel science, or other education that the employer considers equivalent for the position.

To succeed in the role, you have, in addition to relevant education:

  • experience in administrative and coordinating HR work as well as work with HR processes
  • basic knowledge of labor law, collective agreements, and HR processes
  • good digital competence and system familiarity
  • understanding of HR's role as operational support in a politically governed organization
  • understanding of how HR processes are translated into concrete activities
  • very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • experience in providing support to managers in HR-related questions
  • experience from the public sector or politically governed organization
  • experience with HR systems and digital support systems.
