Where you will work

At Öster Mälarstrand, we offer 90 apartments spread over five floors. 54 apartments are intended for people with dementia, and 36 for people with somatic conditions. On each floor, there is a kitchen with a dining area, as well as a living room and a large balcony. We also have a rooftop terrace for coffee, grilling, and activities. On the ground floor, you will find a common area with a fireplace, café, restaurant, and access to our inner courtyard. We also have larger rooms for activities, parties, or other events. In the surroundings of the residence, there are nice walking paths along Lake Mälaren or in green areas. In the immediate vicinity, there are playgrounds, restaurants, a grocery store, and bus stops.

Who are you?

You are responsible, independent, and confident in making priorities and leading others. You enjoy mentoring staff in health and medical issues, are unpretentious, and are motivated by organizing care in the best possible way together with your colleagues.

Your role includes maintaining continuous dialogue with relatives and informing them of changes in health status. You collaborate with colleagues, doctors, and potentially other internal and external contacts to ensure good care.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a colleague for a full-time permanent position with a probationary period, starting at a date to be agreed upon.

• Licensed Nurse
• Experience from nursing homes or care residences
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

We would appreciate if you have further education in dementia and geriatrics.

To thrive in this role, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings, while also being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. At our company, we work both in teams and independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in this environment.

Before we offer employment, you must show an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, for example, a passport or an approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.
