We are now looking for a Field Geotechnical Engineer to join one of the world's leading analysis and technology consulting firms.

Here you will have the opportunity to work with geotechnical investigations in projects that contribute to future societal development, ranging from infrastructure and industry to urban development and environmental projects. The field team works in pairs in close collaboration, conducting geotechnical investigations across Sweden. Projects often last for one week at a time, which involves regular travel and overnight stays in different locations.

The work is primarily outdoors year-round and varies depending on the project, weather, and environment. The role combines practical fieldwork with technical documentation and the handling of collected data.

In this role, you will be responsible for tasks such as:

• Geotechnical sounding and sampling

• Surveying and setting out using GPS equipment

• Installation of groundwater wells

• Handling and documentation of collected data

• Visual assessment of soil types in the field

• Clearing terrain to facilitate project progress

• Post-secondary education in fields such as geology, environmental engineering, or similar

• Previous experience in field geotechnics or ground investigations

• Knowledge of GIS

Working Hours: 07:00–16:00, some overtime may occur
