As an experienced electrical designer with us, you will have a central role in our customer projects within mining and steel industries, paper & pulp, as well as water and wastewater (VA). You work in technology-intensive projects where you combine electrical design with project management, customer dialogue, and technical advisory. The role involves great variety and the opportunity to influence both projects and working methods.

With us, you will work with the entire chain from planning and technical calculations to design, documentation, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and commissioning. You will also become an important mentor and knowledge sharer for junior colleagues in the team.

In the role, you will:

• Be responsible for leading and planning electrical design assignments in both small and large industrial projects in close collaboration with customers and internal teams
• Work with engineering, such as technical calculations, sizing, and documentation
• Participate in troubleshooting, commissioning, and provide technical support
• Act as a technical mentor and role model for more junior colleagues in the team
• Ensure that deliveries maintain high quality and comply with relevant standards and regulations

You have a natural customer focus and easily build trust in dialogues with both customers and colleagues. Since the role involves many contact points, you are communicative and have an easy time adapting the way you explain technical issues depending on the recipient. You are also flexible and thrive in a daily routine where projects and priorities sometimes change along the way.

To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:

• Relevant technical education or equivalent work experience that can be assessed as equivalent
• At least 6 years of experience in electrical design, preferably within the industry
• Experience with CAD tools such as Elprocad, AutoCAD, or Eplan
• Good understanding of technical calculations and sizing (e.g., sizing of cables, transformers, fuses, and other electrical components)
• Good knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

It is an advantage if you have previous experience from consultancy work within the steel, mining, or process industries, and experience in leadership roles such as technical manager, design leader, or project manager.
