The Workplace

The Community Development Administration has a business with a wide scope, including the units street/park, water and sewer, planning and building, property, catering, as well as premises maintenance and associated administrative services.

The catering unit has nine different kitchens, ranging from production kitchens to receiving kitchens, which primarily serve as a service function for the municipality's various administrations based on their catering needs.

Job Responsibilities

As an hourly chef, you will be offered work during the absence of regular staff, which can involve both planned coverage and quick vacancy solutions, potentially working in all kitchens within the catering operations.

Common daily tasks include cooking, diet cooking, handling food, and daily production planning.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a chef education from upper secondary school or with equivalent education/experience. We would prefer that you have documented professional experience. You need to have knowledge of diet cooking, computer skills, and have worked with HACCP and be familiar with this working method.

You should have a great interest in food and cooking, good teamwork skills, be service-oriented, and have a flexible mindset since every day will look different.

You must have good knowledge of the Swedish language to be able to work based on our kitchen instructions, HACCP plan, substitute folder, and to maintain a dialogue with our customers.
