Work location: Gothenburg, Malmö, Stockholm, Umeå

The Vehicle Unit within the Economics Department has the consolidated national responsibility for vehicle services, the agency's vehicle supply, fuel supply, and internal traffic safety work. You will be placed with the National Vehicle Supply Group, and your assignment includes coordinating, developing, and streamlining operations within our areas of activity.

Job Description

In the role of Case Officer, you will work at the Vehicle Unit with the agency's vehicle supply. You will work closely with other competencies in the vehicle supply process. Under the direction of the Head of Vehicle Supply, you will work with the analysis, planning, and distribution of the Swedish Police Authority's vehicles. You are responsible for processing large data sets, developing proposals on what should be prioritized, and suggesting how this should be done. This work includes planning for vehicles and the agency's vehicle supply analysis and vehicle supply plan. As a Case Officer, you handle and plan facility assets and investments based on the organization's need for vehicles. All work must be based on good internal control and governance, in other words - good order and discipline.

Qualifications

This is an opportunity for you who have:

  • An academic degree in economics, logistics, or equivalent as assessed by the employer
  • At least three years of experience in vehicle planning
  • At least three years of experience in development work within the vehicle sector
  • At least three years of experience in analytical work within a relevant area
  • Good ability to write and speak fluently in Swedish
  • Very good ability to handle Office packages
  • Experience in describing and handling complex data sets as well as presenting the analysis of these
  • Swedish citizenship
  • Category B driver's license

It is meritorious if you also have:

  • Experience in managing a large organization's vehicle fleet
  • Experience in management and development within the vehicle sector

Personal Qualities

A prerequisite for delivering in the role of Case Officer at the Vehicle Unit is that you have a developed ability for communication and collaboration, as well as flexibility and the ability to work independently. You must be genuinely interested in learning new things, understanding, and seeing your part in the whole picture. Another prerequisite is your willingness and ability to learn new digital tools that you apply in your work.
