Do you want to work with qualified payment processing in a complex and socially critical operation? We are looking for you with experience in finance and accounting who wants to contribute to secure and efficient financial flows in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister's Office, in a role characterized by quality, development, and collaboration.

The Finance and Business Unit consists of three sections, one of which is the Payments Section. Within this section, approximately 14 employees ensure that the Chancellery's payments are handled correctly and efficiently through central invoice processing for several ministries, supplier setup and control, and the handling of all payments within the Chancellery. The operations include both ongoing operations and the development of working methods and system support to ensure that payments are made in a correct, secure, and efficient manner.
You are responsible for the daily handling of Swedish and international payments, including reconciliation, reporting, and quality assurance. The work also includes monthly reconciliations, ongoing bookkeeping, customer invoicing, incoming payments, and supplier invoices, as well as service-oriented handling of cases in case management systems and functional mailboxes. The role involves responsibility for ensuring correct financial flows and the ability to switch between different tasks within the unit.

Your background
We are looking for you who have a university or college education relevant to the assignment, for example with a focus on economics, or alternatively have work experience that the employer considers equivalent. You have many years of experience in qualified work within finance, payment administration, or accounting.
You have very good knowledge of accounting principles and good accounting practice. Furthermore, you have good system familiarity, including good knowledge of the Office package, and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new digital tools. You express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good knowledge of English.
It is meritorious if you have additional education or courses in economics, accounting, or a related field. It is also meritorious to have experience working in the financial systems Unit4 and Proceedo, as well as good knowledge of VAT.

The position is a permanent employment that begins with a six-month probationary period.
The position is classified for security clearance, and a security investigation with register control will be conducted before a decision on employment is made. You must be a Swedish citizen, but may have a foreign background.
