Do you want one of the school's most important and meaningful assignments? Here, you contribute every day to students' development, safety, and learning – in both school and leisure-time centers (fritidshem). We are now looking for a substitute teacher in the leisure-time center for Nödingeskolan.

Nödingeskolan is a grades F–6 school in Nödinge, near Ale Square, with approximately 700 students. The school is divided into a lower and upper primary building and has a large shared schoolyard. We work in professional teams with the student's entire school day in focus.

The school is PALS-certified. PALS (Positive Behavioral Support in Schools) is a research-based approach aimed at creating a safe, inclusive, and predictable learning climate. The work permeates both school and leisure-time centers and is based on shared attitudes, clear structures, and active relationship work.

Responsibilities

As a substitute teacher in the leisure-time center, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in the leisure-time center in accordance with Lgr22, Part 4. The teaching combines care, development, and learning, giving students the opportunity to develop social skills, creativity, independence, and new interests in a safe and meaningful environment.

The leisure-time center works with pedagogical planning and a common annual calendar as part of systematic quality work, focusing on progression, equity, and visible teaching for students and guardians. During school hours, you collaborate with class teachers and other staff. Depending on qualifications, teaching may also take place in the school. Collaboration between school and leisure-time center is an important part of creating wholeness and continuity in the students' day.

In this role, you contribute to:

• conducting teaching in the leisure-time center based on students' needs, interests, and experiences
• creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• strengthening students' social skills, responsibility, and interaction
• working preventively for safety and study peace, including during breaks and transitions
• contributing to equity, structure, and clear attitudes
• participating in and developing the leisure-time center's systematic quality work
• collaborating with colleagues and guardians regarding students' development

We would appreciate it if you have experience with or interest in PALS work. The school needs more PALS instructors who can contribute to further developing the approach within the leisure-time center.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher in leisure-time centers. Experience from leisure-time centers and schools is meritorious, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates. Other relevant and equivalent education may also be of interest.

You have good knowledge of the leisure-time center's governing documents and work consciously to build safe and trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You are clear in your communication, have a positive and professional attitude, and actively contribute to the school's development work. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
