At Olivia, we work together for everyone's right to live life to the fullest. We are now looking for another colleague to join our team, is that you?

About the position

Are you looking for a job where you make a real difference in someone's daily life? We are currently looking for a secure, positive, and patient person who wants to accompany a young person on various daily activities. The most important thing for us is not what is on your CV, but who you are as a person. Working hours are flexible, but both daytime and weekends may occur.

The young person has Rapid Onset Dystonia Parkinsonism (RDP). This is a rare neurological diagnosis that affects the motor signals in the body. The symptoms mainly manifest as stiffness, tremors, and muscle contractions (dystonia). For this young person, this means that mobility is reduced in everyday life, and balance is particularly affected when walking. They prefer to walk arm-in-arm during walks.

Your task is to brighten up daily life and provide support during lighter activities. This could include, for example:

  • Taking pleasant walks at a relaxed pace.
  • Going downtown for a coffee.
  • Going on other light and fun outings together.

About you

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and has the ability to understand and meet individuals' different needs. You are sensitive, proactive, solution-oriented, and engaged. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Qualifications:

We have no strict educational requirements for this position, but we are looking for someone who meets the following:

  • Patient and sensitive: Since the diagnosis means that walking is not possible at a fast pace, it is important that you enjoy a calm and unpretentious tempo.
  • Secure and positive: You have a stable personality and are easy to get along with.
  • Care experience (meritorious): It is a plus if you have previous experience in healthcare, social care, or as a personal assistant.
  • Language (meritorious): It is highly meritorious if you speak Russian.

Employment level: 5% of full-time - 8 hours per month.

Start date: Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. We warmly welcome your application.

Things to consider before applying:

A prerequisite for starting employment at Olivia is that you can present a valid ID and submit a residence certificate (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the residence certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you wish to work with children and young people under 18, you need to provide an extract from the criminal record register. It is important to order the extracts well in advance, as the Police's processing time may vary. Due to a legislative change from March 1, 2026, the register check is expanded to include both extracts from the criminal record register and extracts from the suspicion register.

You can easily order the extracts with BankID via this link: https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/barn-med-funktionsnedsattning/ (https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/barn-med-funktionsnedsattning/)

We recommend that you ensure you have current extracts according to the new rules.

About the recruitment process: If you give your consent, we can share your profile with our sister companies if your profile matches another position within Team Olivia.

For you with Employment Support:

Olivia is an inclusive company. We welcome all applicants, including those who are entitled to some form of employment support through the Swedish Public Employment Service. It is voluntary to state this information in your application, or you can also inform us during a possible interview.

About collective agreements and benefits at Olivia:

As an employee, you are covered by a collective agreement and, of course, insured on the way to and from work in case something unexpected happens.
