Selectric delivers total contracts and turnkey substations to its customers. The operations are carefully managed throughout the entire project – from start to finish – and include both the construction of new facilities and upgrades of existing substations, always adapted to the customer's needs. With establishments in Kungsbacka and Trollhättan, Selectric works throughout the country, from southern Sweden up to Mora. Their ambition is to grow long-term and actively contribute to the development of the power grid.

Responsibilities

As a project manager at Selectric, you will have a central role in driving contracting projects within the power grid, from planning and initiation to final delivery. The projects cover the entire process, from site preparation and construction to installation and commissioning, meaning that as a project manager, you will be involved in all parts.

You will become part of an entrepreneurial and growing company that is on an exciting growth journey, where you have the opportunity to influence both the design of the projects and the company's future development. The role involves leading larger and complex projects with responsibility for both economy, schedule, and quality. You lead and coordinate subcontractors, have close contact with customers, and work closely with an engaged team consisting of other project managers, lead fitters, technical specialists, and design support.

Examples of tasks:

• Plan, drive, and follow up on contracting projects within the power grid, from start to final delivery.
• Be responsible for the project's schedule, economy, and quality.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors and build long-term relationships with customers.
• Participate in construction meetings and ensure that the project meets all requirements regarding working environment, safety, and regulations (e.g., BAS-U and BAS-P).
• Participate in factory visits and testing of components in Europe and elsewhere internationally.
• Contribute to the development of Selectric's project methodology and working methods in a growing organization.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field, e.g., technology, construction, electrical power, or similar.
• Experience in leading contracting projects within electricity, earthworks, or construction/infrastructure.
• Background as a project manager, site manager, or contracting engineer, or a similar role with responsibility for schedule, budget, and coordination.
• Good knowledge of contracting law (AB/ABT).
• Driver's license class B (business travel is part of the role).
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Merits:

• Experience with total contracts or larger infrastructure projects.
• BAS-U and BAS-P.
• Experience in the energy sector or power grid projects.
