Responsibilities and Tasks
As an auditor with us, we offer you a unique opportunity to participate in the development of an investigative function within the state. You will work with everything from simpler audits to more complex investigations. Your role involves collecting, processing, and analyzing information from various sources to detect incorrect payments and other errors.
In parallel with the audit of suspected incorrect payments, you will participate in efforts to ensure an efficient and legally secure audit function at the agency. You will drive and participate in the method and business development of the audit activities. The work includes regular dialogue and collaboration with other agencies.
We are looking for someone who has
- An academic degree that we assess as relevant for the role
- At least 5 years of recent experience in control/investigation of incorrect payments within the public sector and/or unemployment insurance funds
- Recent work experience within social insurance, unemployment insurance, pensions, unemployment insurance funds, study grants, or financial assistance to private individuals
- Recent work experience in business development within the public sector
- Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
It is meritorious if you also have
- Recent work experience in leading collaboration with external parties
Abilities and Skills
To succeed in the role of auditor at the Payment Authority, you are quality-conscious and have good analytical skills. You are structured, self-reliant, and have good collaboration skills.
The government's code of conduct summarizes and highlights the most important requirements for state employees; working in the state means adhering to it. We also place high demands on security awareness.
Other
The place of work is in Stockholm. The agency is located in modern premises near Gullmarsplan. Security clearance may be required. The position is a permanent full-time employment. A six-month probationary period may apply.
