Stockhult AB is looking for an experienced and engaged Maintenance Manager with responsibility for our operations in Glommersträsk and our brand new, state-of-the-art sawmill in Kalix.

About the role of Maintenance Manager

As Maintenance Manager, you play a central role in leading maintenance efforts towards our vision of contributing to a greener everyday life and a vibrant local community through the optimal processing of renewable timber.

You are responsible for ensuring high operational availability, safety, and cost-efficiency in our facilities. You lead and develop maintenance work for machinery, vehicles, and buildings, with a focus on preventive and long-term sustainable maintenance.

The role involves both strategic and operational responsibility, giving you the opportunity to build structure, working methods, and culture in a developing business.

Your main areas of responsibility:

• Lead and develop the maintenance organization and employees
• Ensure high technical availability and reduce unplanned stoppages
• Drive preventive and condition-based maintenance
• Plan and coordinate maintenance efforts together with production
• Work systematically with analysis, improvement work, and root cause analysis
• Responsible for spare parts, service agreements, and supplier contacts
• Ensure safe working practices and high quality within occupational health and maintenance

The position is based in Kalix, reports to the COO, is part of the company's management group, and collaborates closely with production and other functions within the group.

Experience and qualifications

We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest, motivated by creating structure, operational reliability, and long-term improvements, and who thrives in a dynamic and developing environment.

You have a technical academic degree or equivalent experience, along with solid experience in leadership roles within industrial maintenance or production.

Furthermore, you have good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and electricity, as well as experience in improvement work and preventive maintenance. Experience with TPM, RCM, or other modern maintenance methods is a plus.

Your personal attributes

To succeed in this role, you are confident, structured, decisive, and analytical, with clear and engaging leadership. You thrive in an environment where things are happening, and where collaboration, responsibility, and development are natural parts of daily life.

You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
