The Land Surveying Authority (Lantmäteriet) is the agency responsible for mapping Sweden. Our tasks also include registering and securing ownership of all real estate properties as well as managing their boundaries. We are now looking for you who have a strong commitment to society.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Map your IT career!

As an employee here, you will belong to our team at the Development and IT unit, which is responsible for the organization's On-prem Cloud solution (OpenShift). We work to support our development teams by delivering a development and operations environment for containerized applications.

You will work with our OpenShift environments and surrounding integrations. Furthermore, the role includes both operations and administration of the existing environment, as well as new development and expansion of the platform. As part of this team, you will focus on providing the Land Surveying Authority with a stable and secure platform, working with administration, automation, configuration of security policies, operations at all levels; from hardware to the middleware layer, troubleshooting, etc.

Having good communication and collaboration skills is an important part of our daily work, primarily with cross-functional teams of technicians and developers. We have a strong focus on security and traceability where we work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and monitoring.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a broad and genuine interest in technology within operations and development. You have a university education in IT or have acquired equivalent competence in another way that we assess as equivalent. We want you to have several years of current experience working practically with container technology (such as Kubernetes, Rancher, OpenShift) as well as experience working with Infrastructure as Code, GitOps via tools such as Ansible, ArgoCD, FluxCD, Terraform. You are comfortable working in a shell and have an understanding of scripting as well as good experience working in the Linux terminal.

It is meritorious if you have:

• experience in developing and managing Linux environments, especially in enterprise contexts
• experience working with on-premises solutions
• worked with operations and development in a multi-cluster environment
• experience with infrastructure and application monitoring via e.g., OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, Stackrox, Anchore, Falco, Prometheus, Sysdig, Loki
• worked with CI/CD pipelines, Helm, Kustomize
