About the role

As a Project Buyer (Project Owner Representative), you have a key role in overseeing and ensuring the functionality and future of Forsmark's automation systems. You are responsible for identifying renewal needs, initiating investigations, and acting as the buyer's representative to the project department to ensure quality and budget in major investment projects. You will become part of a team that combines senior expertise with new capabilities to develop future automation solutions.

This is a consultancy assignment with the ambition that you will be employed by Vattenfall at Forsmark after your one-year consultancy period.

Responsibilities

The role of Project Buyer involves supervising and being responsible for specific system areas within automation, from identifying needs and initiatives to ensuring that projects are carried out with high quality and according to budget. You act as a link between technology and other departments, with a focus on OT (Operational Technology).

• Be responsible for a specific system area of automation systems in production facilities
• Coordinate the inventory of measures to secure the systems and thereby the future operation, function, and status of the facilities
• Prepare documentation for project procurement, such as economic decisions
• Ensure that projects are carried out with quality regarding safety, performance, and budget
• Identify needs, initiate preliminary studies, investigations, and analyses of renewal needs

We are looking for you who

• Have a university degree or civil engineer degree in electrical engineering, energy systems, or automation, or similar education
• Have good computer skills and an interest in technology
• Are fluent in Swedish and English

The position is security classified, which means that a security clearance check will be conducted before employment. The security clearance includes register control and security clearance interviews in accordance with the Security Protection Act. In addition to the security clearance, alcohol and drug tests will be conducted, as well as a medical examination for work with ionizing radiation.
