Do you have an eye for e-commerce, love when technology and design work together, and want a role where you take significant responsibility from day one? Our client, Fibr, is now looking for an engaged E-commerce Administrator who wants to drive and develop their Shopify store to the next level. Perfect for you who are studying an IT technical education or digital commerce and want to kickstart your career!
About the role
Our client, Fibr, is an innovative food company based in Edsbyn, Hälsingland. They develop and manufacture allergen-friendly foods with a focus on high fiber content and whole grains, without compromising on taste or quality.
Their journey began about six years ago in their own kitchen. With a clear vision of creating food with optimized fiber content, they began experimenting, baking, and refining their recipes. The result became the foundation for what is now Fibr. To guarantee safety and quality, they built their own factory from scratch. In production, the products are free from gluten, milk, eggs, nuts, peanuts, and soy – with no traces of allergens. This allows more people to feel included and secure in their choices.
Fibr is growing rapidly and therefore welcomes an E-commerce Administrator on a part-time basis. A perfect role for you who are studying, where you gain practical experience and develop your skills at an established company.
What we offer
- Flexible working hours that fit your studies
- A creative and inclusive work environment with high engagement
- Opportunities to grow and take on more responsibility over time
Responsibilities
In the role of E-commerce Administrator, you will be the heart of Fibr's digital store. Your main task is to ensure that their Shopify platform maintains the highest quality, that the customer journey is smooth and converting, and that the site is ready for our continued international expansion. You will work broadly within e-commerce, from design, content, and product management to analysis, technical integrations, and logistics.
You will become part of an ambitious team where ideas quickly become reality, and you will have great opportunities to develop your technical skills in e-commerce.
In the role, you will work with:
- Platform Responsibility & Design: Manage and optimize the site's design in Shopify and ensure that everything functions technically without errors.
- Content & Localization: Quality-assure copy, texts, and product descriptions, as well as handle translations for new languages and markets.
- Conversion & Customer Journey: Conduct data analysis, optimized UX, and strategic upselling to maximize conversion, order value, and growth.
- Logistics & Settings: Administer and set up shipping zones, shipping prices, and delivery settings.
- Product Management: Upload new products, update existing assortments, and optimize product data.
- Systems & Integrations: Responsible for syncing and maintaining external APIs and apps in Shopify, with extra focus on shipping solutions (Shipmondo) and payment solutions (Qliro).
We are looking for you who
- Are studying a post-secondary education at least 50% in e-commerce, systems science, IT technology, or similar.
- Have a good understanding of or experience with Shopify (meritorious if you have built or managed stores previously).
- Express yourself very well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:
- Goal-oriented
- Organized
- Responsible
Our recruitment process
This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work, and our client's request is that all questions regarding the position are sent to Academic Work.
We apply continuous selection and will remove the ad when enough candidates have reached the final stage of the recruitment process. A CV is required when applying. We do not use cover letters as a selection method, so one does not need to be attached. As a candidate, you bear the main responsibility for ensuring your application is complete when submitted. The recruitment process includes two selection tests: a personality test and a cognitive ability test. The tests are a tool to find the candidate with the highest potential for the position and to promote equality, diversity, and a fair recruitment process.
For our part-time positions, you as an applicant need another main occupation of at least 50%. Examples of this are studies, other employment, self-employment, parental leave, or similar.
